Yo soy Damaris, nacida en el Ande del Perú. Crecí en la cultura musical andina. De muy pequeña, vine a la cosmopolita Lima y crezco en esta ciudad en medio de muchas influencias de géneros, ritmos y melodías. Regreso a mis orígenes y a mis influencias, las integro, y las hago dialogar en un lenguaje respetuoso y sincero. Esa es mi música, ese es mi género, que se llama fusión. 

My name is Damaris Mallma. I was born in Peru. I grew up in a very rich artistic environment. Since I was a small girl, I have been involved in the music, either playing any musical instrument, such as the small guitar (charango) or listening traditional music of the Peruvian Andes. This influence with the one I grew up has been the greatest source of inspiration for my artistic development.
